This website uses no tracking cookies, no Google Analytics, and no advertising technologies. No cookie banner is required.

This website is hosted on a V-Server by STRATO AG (Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin). When you visit the website, technical access data is automatically stored in server log files:
- IP address (anonymized)
- Date and time of access
- Requested URL
- Browser type and operating system
- Referrer URL
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable provision of the website). Log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest.
Strato's privacy policy: strato.de/datenschutz
The same server hosts self-operated services (including GitLab). These services are subject to the same Strato infrastructure terms.
3. Cookies
This website only uses technically necessary cookies for basic functionality (e.g. language setting). No analytics, marketing, or tracking cookies are set. Consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR is therefore not required.
4. Contact via Email
When you contact me by email, the transmitted personal data (name, email address, message content) will be processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b or lit. f GDPR.
For email communication I use Google Mail (Gmail) by Google LLC. Google processes the data as a processor based in the USA; an adequate level of protection is provided under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
The data will be deleted after the communication is concluded.

This website contains links to external services (GitHub) as well as self-operated services (GitLab at gitlab.nicojoerger.de). Once you click these links, the respective privacy policies of those services apply. I do not transmit personal data when you click on external links.
6. Technical & Organizational Measures (Art. 32 GDPR)
This website is transmitted encrypted (TLS/HTTPS). Access to the server infrastructure is restricted to authorized persons. Personal data is collected only to the technically necessary extent and deleted regularly (see server logs).
